Please take a few minutes to read the entire email carefully so you’re fully prepared for an amazing weekend!

We’re so excited to welcome you to campus - here’s what you need to know for a smooth check-in:

When You Arrive:

1. Turn into Caronport from Highway 1.

2. Take your first left onto 1st Ave, then turn right onto Centre Street.

3. Follow the signs to the Bookstore Parking Lot - stay in your vehicle.

   *See alternative route if you are bringing a bus! Send one person to the registration tent.

4. Our registration team will come to you to get you checked in!

After Check-In:

1. Drive to your assigned accommodations.

2. Park in the lot closest to where you’re staying.

3. We ask that you leave your vehicle parked for the rest of the weekend to help keep traffic low and things running smoothly.

4. Make sure to review the maps below so you’re ready when you arrive. See you soon!

Please follow the map above when arriving on campus, it’ll help make check-in quick and easy!

At check-in, your group will receive a registration packet that includes:

• A welcome letter

• Accommodation details (Briercrest dorms or other)

• Event wristbands (must be worn all weekend)

• Event handbooks (one per group member)

• Youth worker name tags (to be worn all weekend)

• Seminar & lounge info for youth workers

• A campus map

Parking Reminder:
There will be plenty of public parking available throughout the weekend near your accommodations.
Please do not park behind the Cafeteria (across from 2nd Ave) - this area is reserved for food deliveries.

Packing List

• Sleeping stuff (pillow, sleeping bag or blanket, and foam mat)

• Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, towel, & soap)

• Clothing (enough for 3 days & check the weather before you pack)

• Running / indoor shoes

• Bible, journal, & pens

• Some extra cash for snacks, merch & Sunday lunch

During the weekend we’ll be using an app called FaithSpark to keep everyone in the loop! It’s where you’ll find important updates, schedule changes, and announcements throughout the event. You’ll be receiving an email from FaithSpark inviting you to sign up - don’t worry, it’s completely free!

We’re also using some of the fun features in the app, like the quiz and photo album, for random giveaways, so keep checking in and stay engaged for a chance to win some prizes!

1. PHOTO’s: Photo send your photos from the weekend to the account “Youth Quake” on FaithSpark. We will select the top photos from the weekend to win!

2. QUIZ: Complete the quiz after each main session for a chance to win a prize!

3. Messages: Youth Workers, throughout the weekend we will send spontaneous messages on FaithSpark, such as “First person to show this message to Hourglass Coffee will be get a free coffee on us.”

If this is your first year at Youth Quake, please be aware that our kickoff session is full of flashing lights, loud music, and items flying through the air. We kickoff off the weekend with a competition of the sections and battle it out through large scale games.

Below is the map of our Hildebrand Chapel where we will gather for kickoff and all four main sessions throughout the weekend. Please note the middle section will NOT be an official team in our kickoff games but you will still be in the middle of the game action. With our tech booth located in the middle of the chapel we will do our best to avoid hitting our technical team as they work.

*All seating in our chapel is first come, first served. If you want a particular section or seat for you and your group you must arrive early.

*If you have students who do not wish to participate in kickoff games please sit in our middle section.

NEW THIS YEAR: On Sunday morning, we ask that all youth workers have breakfast and pack up their dorms and vehicles before our final main session—but please do not drive over to the main parking lot. Instead, leave your vehicle at your dorm and walk over to the session. After the session ends, you’ll be able to drive over for pickup—there will be one-way traffic on College Drive and a 15-minute loading zone in the main parking lot to help you quickly and safely load up your group. Thanks for helping us keep things smooth and safe for everyone!
