God’s desire is to be known by his people. And we believe that one of the most beautiful ways we can do this is by meeting God in prayer.

This year at YQ, we will explore what it means to be a kingdom people as we delve into Matthew 6:9-13, commonly referred to as ‘The Lord’s Prayer’. This widely known passage is Jesus’ teaching on how we should pray. Together, we will explore the notion that prayer is the doorway into life with Christ, specifically as it hinges on: your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Our hope for this year is that we will become a people who know God as our Father, who longs to be known by us. We believe that His kingdom coming is truly what is best for us and the world around us. We pray that this way of praying will become the prayer of our hearts. May God ready our hearts for all he longs to teach us this weekend.
